Turnitin

Austin Peay State University's Distance Education office provides access to Turnitin Feedback Studio for APSU faculty to use in their courses. Turnitin offers two core tools: similarity identification to support academic integrity, and likely AI writing detection to help instructors identify content that may have been generated by AI tools. Together with its online grading features — including rubrics, drag-and-drop annotations, voice comments, and text feedback — Turnitin helps instructors give meaningful, personalized feedback that supports student growth as writers.

Turnitin is integrated directly into D2L Brightspace as an option within the Assignments tool. This integration supports single sign-on for both faculty and students, links Turnitin Feedback Studio to the D2L Gradebook, and makes it easy for students to see when their feedback is available.
