Locate essential resources and troubleshooting tips to ensure a smooth and secure testing experience with Respondus LockDown Browser. Respondus’ website provides a comprehensive knowledge base (opens new window) to address your needs. Instructors can find guides, tutorials and support material within the LockDown Browser tab inside the D2L Quizzes tool.
Prior to testing, students should reach out with any questions about the exam and its requirements. They should notify their instructor in real-time if they are experiencing issues while testing.
Please note, there are references to other Respondus products or services that we do not offer. Distance Education only offers LockDown Browser and no other Respondus tool.

Submit a Respondus support ticket for any issues with LockDown Browser. This is not recommended for immediate assistance as responses may take 24 hours.

If you need assistance with on-campus WIFI or an APSU-managed device (such as a laptop loan or computer lab device), please contact GOVSTECH at 931-221-HELP (4357).

Distance Education can be contacted about the tool in general and in regards to the integration in D2L. We often may not be able to assist with issues while taking an exam because the exam experience is secured. Distance Education is available Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm Central Time.
