Faculty Resources
Panorama is an integrated accessibility tool in D2L Brightspace that supports faculty in creating more accessible learning experiences for all students. Designed to make accessibility more approachable, Panorama automatically scans course content, identifies potential issues, and provides guidance and tools to help improve accessibility.
Faculty can view accessibility scores, receive file-specific feedback, and even make quick fixes directly within the platform. Panorama also empowers students by offering multiple alternative formats so they can engage with course content in the way that works best for them.
While Panorama streamlines many aspects of accessibility, it’s still important for instructors to review content carefully to ensure accessibility standards are fully met. Panorama serves as a powerful starting point and ongoing support tool that makes it easier for faculty to build courses that meet a variety of student needs.

Please note:
- Panorama does not currently support HTML content, but D2L’s built-in accessibility checker can help identify common issues in static HTML files.
- Students only see blue Panorama icons and do not have access to accessibility reports;
they only have access to the Alternative Formats Menu.
