'Applying the QM Rubric' (APPQMR) Workshop Offerings

Instructors can attend APPQMR workshops through Distance Education or directly through Quality Matters (QM). There are only four DE-facilitated APPQMR sessions remaining for Spring 2024!

  • Face-to-Face: April 25th, 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. 

  • Face-to-Face: May 6th, 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

  • Synchronous Zoom: May 7th & 8th, 8:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.

  • Online Asynchronous: May 8th - 22nd

Notice
The Examity online proctoring platform will no longer be available at Austin Peay State University after August 2nd, 2024. This allows for Examity usage through the Summer 2024 terms.
Moving forward, Honorlock online proctoring will remain the solely supported online proctoring tool provided by Distance Education. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us.

Preserve the quality of your exam content with Honorlock's 'Search & Destroy'
Search & Destroy scans the internet to locate exam questions that have been shared online. It then offers straightforward steps to manage compromised content.
Once you have enabled Honorlock for your quiz, click ‘Results’ then click the ‘Search & Destroy’ tab to see if any of your quiz questions were found online and what actions you could take.

Reviewed status icon
Honorlock has introduced the new "Reviewed" status icon!
After clicking to review a session, the test taker card will now display a check mark icon indicating that the session has previously been reviewed.

Become an AOQF Peer Reviewer!

Earn up to $500 in professional development funds through the new CAFÉ Perks Program. AOQF Peer Reviewer requirements include:

  • Completion of APPQMR

  • Completion of AOQF Peer Reviewer Workshop

  • Experience teaching an online class (within the last year)

Faculty-Requested Human Captioning is now available in YuJa!

Follow these instructions to request captioning services:
1. Access Human Captioning by navigating to 'Manage Media' at the top of the screen.
2. Choose the desired media and select 'More...' from the upper right corner of the thumbnail and, from the 'Details' page, choose 'Accessibility'.
3. Click on 'Human Caption'. Your default Human Caption service will appear if you have permission to request Human Captioning. Note, you may see an override message if auto captioning has been completed. Select 'yes' in the pop-up box.
4. Select 'Send Request'. An email should be sent once completed. There is a 1-2 day turnaround time for YuJa Human Captioning requests.
