APSU has limited cloud storage, and we need YOUR assistance to ensure that we never run out of space! Please review your Zoom cloud recordings and delete them where possible. Watch this short video to learn more about deleting entire recordings or specific files.

  • Is the recording not for a course or not something you are actively using, but something you want to keep?... Consider downloading the recording from Zoom.
  • What are you actually recording from each meeting?... Check your recording settings in Zoom.

APSU ONLINE QUALITY FUNDAMENTALS (AOQF)

We are on track for 70 courses to receive this certification in 2024-2025!
The Austin Peay State University Online Quality Fundamentals (AOQF) exemplifies our dedication to excellence in online education. In two years, over 140 courses have been certified, supported by 24 peer reviewers. This initiative fosters collaboration, prioritizes student success, and engages faculty by ensuring our online courses adhere to five foundational principles of course design. 

 

Become an AOQF Peer Reviewer!
Complete three reviews in one semester and earn $500. The requirements for AOQF Peer Reviewer include:
- APPQMR completion
- Taught an online class in the last year
- Complete the AOQF Peer Reviewer Workshop
To get started, fill out the AOQF Peer Reviewer Application ticket

The AOQF can provide you with a solid foundation to pursue the QM certification for international recognition in course design.

Our contract for YuJa media management will expire in December 2025. It’s important to take immediate action and be proactive in managing your media. 

  • Review all your media in YuJa.
  • Download relevant files for future use.
  • Delete files that are irrelevant and unwanted.

Camtasia and Snagit Licenses
Are you looking for ways to improve your screenshots or videos?
Distance Education has licenses available for instructors. Snagit is a screen-capture software with features to enhance your captures for documents or presentations. Camtasia is a screen-recording software that improves your video presentations. Please contact the Distance Education department at online@apsu.edu to obtain a license and receive instructions on installing the software. 

 

Course Availability

Courses become available to faculty in D2L 60 calendar days before the course start date.  Additionally, students gain access to courses two business days prior to the course start date.  Faculty should upload an accessible syllabus into courses before students gain access. Please see the table below for availability dates for the upcoming terms.
