Copyright Infringement Notification

Under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act, any copyright owner who wishes to notify Austin Peay State University of a possible copyright infringement on the campus network, should do so in writing to the University's agent:

Proper written notification from a copyright owner must include: the name, address, telephone number, e-mail address and electronic or physical signature of the complaining party, sufficient information to identify the copyrighted work or works, the infringing matter and its Internet location, a statement that the complaining party has a good faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner or the law; and a statement that the information contained in the notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that the complaining party is authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
