Managing the Austin Peay website

The new APSU website displayed on tablet

The Austin Peay State University Office of Public Relations and Marketing manages and maintains the university's website using the Modern Campus Omni CMS.

A Content Management System, or CMS, houses all the university's web content, and allows site editors to work collaboratively on all things digitally. The site redesign was launched on June 29, 2017, and has since been recognized with a regional award of excellence at the Council for Advancement and Support of Education, CASE, District III awards in February 2018.

There are individual site editors for each academic unit and department, as well as two main administrators: Campus Webmaster Jacob Culwell, culwellj@apsu.edu, and the Web Content Assistant. You can reach out to either of these employees for issues on the website, or submit a help desk ticket to resolve non-critical issues. For information regarding requirements for all official University web pages please view the Austin Peay State University World Wide Web Policy (7:003).
