Support & Common Requests
This page is your directory for tasks that fall outside of standard page editing, such as requesting new sections, updating directory info, or reporting errors.
Requesting New Content
Do you need a new page or a whole new section? Here is how to decide and how to request it.
Page vs. Section: Which do I need?
-
A Page: A single document containing information.
-
Rule of Thumb: If you have content that is only a paragraph or two, it is usually better to place it on an existing page rather than creating a new one.
-
-
A Section: A "folder" that houses multiple pages (e.g., Main Page, Sign Up, About, Leadership) and has its own navigation panel on the left side.
-
Use this if: You have enough content to fill multiple pages or need a distinct menu separate from the previous section.
-
How to Request
To request a new page or section, please fill out the Page Creation Form.
-
Tip: Provide as much info as possible.
Directory & Faculty Profile Updates
Updating Your Directory Listing
The Faculty/Staff Directory pulls data directly from Govs Suite.
-
If your info (Title, Phone, Office) is wrong: You must request an update through HR.
-
Action: Submit the HR Data Change Ticket.
-
Note: Once HR updates the system, the changes will appear on the website the next morning.
Faculty Profiles (Bio Pages)
These are the profile pages linked to a faculty member's name in the directory.
-
Create a NEW Profile: Use the Faculty Profile Creation Form.
-
Update an EXISTING Profile: To change you bio text or update your headshot, use the Profile Update Ticket.
