Getting Started
What is Modern Campus CMS?
Modern Campus CMS (Content Management System) is the official tool web editors use to make changes to the APSU website. It provides an easy-to-use editing method for non-technical users, ensuring all information shared with the community is accurate and up-to-date.
Each department across campus has one or more editors responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of their website's information.

Browser & Adblocker Setup
Recommended Browsers
We recommend using one of the following browsers for the best editing experience:
-
Google Chrome
-
Mozilla Firefox
-
Microsoft Edge
(Safari is not recommended due to how it handles the adblocker extension required for on-campus use.)
Adblocker Requirement (On-Campus Network Only)
Why is an adblocker required?
In April 2023, the State of Tennessee passed a law that blocks state networks (including the APSU network) from connecting to TikTok’s website. Our website includes code that connects to TikTok to track traffic and assess ad performance.
When you are on the APSU network, the site attempts to connect to TikTok but fails due to the firewall. This causes a long delay that prevents the CMS login link (the copyright symbol) from working correctly.
To resolve this, we recommend adding an adblocker to your browser. This stops the connection attempt and allows the login link to load instantly.
Note: This is only required when you are connected to the APSU network.
How to Install (Adblocker Ultimate)
We recommend Adblocker Ultimate. Please use the links below to install it on your preferred browser:
