Chi Omega
Chi Omega was founded at the University of Arkansas on April 5, 1895. The Sigma Kappa Chapter was installed at Austin Peay State University on May 6, 1972. Today, Chi Omega has a growing sisterhood of more than 350,000 members and 181 active chapters. Membership in Chi Omega means a commitment to Chi Omega’s six purposes. These purposes guide each Chi Omega member and include the following:

In 2002, the leadership in Chi Omega announced the Chi Omega/Make-A-Wish philanthropy alliance. Since the start of this alliance, Chi Omega has raised more than 19 million dollars and has volunteered nearly 1,000,000 hours for Make-A-Wish. The Sigma Kappa Chapter of Chi Omega raised more than $30,000 at their Make-A-Wish event in the Spring of 2018.
