CAFE Leadership
The Center is run by a Director for the Center for Advancement of Faculty Excellence, who serves a three-year, eleven month term in the role. The Director works alongside an advisory board to oversee the Center's mission, guiding principles, and activities. The CAFE Director reports to the the Senior Vice Provost and Associate Vice President for Academic Affairs.

Jeffrey Williams • Director of the Center for the Advancement of Faculty Excellence
Jeffrey Williams has been with Austin Peay State University since 2014 and currently
serves as Associate Professor of Music (Voice) in the Department of Music, College
of Arts & Letters. He began his three year, eleven month appointment as Director of
CAFE on July 1, 2024.
