
The Clarksville Youth Theatre (CYT) is a youth theatre program for ages 10-17 designed to give youth the opportunity to experience the process of putting a show together and performing in a show.

Students should prepare a memorized dramatic monologue between 30 seconds and one
minute long. The monologue may come from a play, tv show, movie, or video game. It
must be fully memorized, as this portion will not be a cold-read audition.
Auditions will take place in groups. Each student will perform their prepared monologue
and then be given lines from the script to read with another student. Once their assigned
audition time is complete, they are welcome to leave.

The loyal crew members who follow Captain Nemo. (These performers will also serve as understudies for the principal roles, participate in combat sequences, and work together to create larger theatrical elements.)
