CSA Summer Class Registration is now open.
Established in 1990, the Community School of the Arts (CSA) at APSU offers a variety of arts classes for children and adults, from beginning to advanced levels, in the areas of dance, theatre, music, creative writing, and visual art. The Center of Excellence for the Creative Arts (CECA, or "seek-ah") took over the management of the CSA in 2017. For more information, call 931-221-7034 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
APSU’s Community School of the Arts is offering exciting new $5/hour class rate
The Community School of the Arts (CSA) at Austin Peay State University is excited to announce a new financial model, using sponsorships from local community members and organizations to dramatically reduce the cost of CSA classes to just $5/hour, making them more affordable to the community. For example, the 8-week Beginning Guitar class that was previously $150 is now just $40. A 12-week Ballet course which was $300 is now only $120.
Recent sponsors include Fred and Judy Landiss, the Clarksville-Montgomery County Arts and Heritage Development Council, the CECA Advisory Board and the Dean of the APSU College of Arts and Letters, Barry Jones.
