Named in honor of John S. Ziegler, the first President of Austin Peay, the Ziegler Leadership Forum takes place each Spring and is open to all registered APSU students. The event includes a full leadership development experience following a specific theme chosen for the year. A committee of students are selected to work with the Office of Student Life and Engagement planning, promoting and implementing our annual Leadership Forum.
The 2020 Ziegler Leadership Forum will take place Thursday, February 27.
Morgan University Center third floor, 3:30 pm to 8:45 pm
Join us for an exciting evening including:
- a welcome reception
- three breakout sessions on Creating an Optimistic Culture, Eliminating Barriers, and Emotional Intelligence
- a panel discussion on Finding Balance
- full dinner
- keynote presentation Leadership Peayces from the Dance Floor by Tom Krieglstein of Swift Kick
- on site competition where attendees have the opportunity to win $$

Registration is requested by Monday Feb. 24 and is free for APSU students.
Can I bring a guest who is not an APSU student?
Non-APSU students over the age of 18 are invited to attend at a cost of $25 per person. The registration for non-students is through Eventbrite. This registration is available by clicking here.
What if my class does not end until after the event has started?
You are welcome to arrive at any point in the evening, however you will be asked to wait in the hall until a session break before entering a room.
Will I get extra credit for any of my classes by attending?
Ask your instructors! Some may give credit for attending this event.
I have a dietary restriction - will I have a dinner I can eat?
On the event RSVP in PeayLink you will be asked to list your dietary restrictions. We will take careful consideration to ensure you have an appropriate meal.
What do I wear?
Suggested attire is business casual.
