APSU Master of Speech-Language Pathology Mission:
The mission of the Austin Peay State University Master of Speech-Language Pathology (MSLP) program is to improve the lives of persons with communication disorders in Tennessee and surrounding regions by preparing highly competent professionals who provide evidence-based clinical services while upholding the highest standards of ethics, integrity, and compassionate care. We fulfill this mission through teaching and learning in a culture that promotes excellence, collegiality, individual distinctiveness, and critical thinking, and through meaningful engagement with the community.
