The MPH program follows the APSU College of Graduate Studies admissions requirements. Listed below are the required application materials. For more information about the application process, please visit https://www.apsu.edu/grad-studies/ or contact the MPH Program Director (blissk@apsu.edu).
Admissions Requirements
- Priority deadline to apply is April 1.
- Application for admission.
- Application Fee: $45 domestic or $55 international.
- Official transcripts from all colleges attended.
- Verification of lawful presence in the United States (i.e. submit a license or other approved document).
- Bachelor’s degree, conferred in any field, from a regionally accredited institution with a preferred overall undergraduate GPA of a 3.0.
- Submit a 500-750 word personal statement responding to the following questions: Why did you choose to apply to the APSU MPH program? How does earning your MPH fit into your professional goals? AI generated or assisted personal statements will not be accepted.
- Submit at least one (1) letter of recommendation (no personal letters will be accepted) speaking to the student’s academic abilities and potential to succeed in a graduate professional program.
- Military documents (if applicable).
- Admission decision by department.
- Note: applications will be considered individually based on a number of factors including rigor of undergraduate program, academic record/history, and writing ability.
