Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degrees

The Department of Computer Science and Information Technology offers three (3) Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degrees. There are 6 areas of study (concentrations) available under the 3 majors. 4 concentrations are offered 100% online. The other 2 concentrations have a significant amount of online courses. All 6 concentrations are offered on-campus. The Department also offers 6 Minors.

The department offers both online and on-campus programs. All degrees and minors are available to on-campus students who attend class primarily in person. The B.S. CIS and the B.S. CIT degrees, as well as the Mobile Software Technology minor, the Information Assurance and Security minor, Web Technology minor, and the Computer Networking minors, can be completed 100% online.  On-campus students may take online classes if they wish to do so.

The Department of Computer Science and Information Technology is located in the Maynard Mathematics and Computer Science Building. There are currently over 600 majors in the department from which the department produces around 100 graduates each year. Transfer, online, military-affiliated, second-degree, and non-traditional students are welcome.

Advisors are available to assist prospective students in choosing a degree and a concentration, as well as planning a program that will lead to graduation.
