APSU Junior Coder Classes

Launch Your Computing Journey
Get hands-on experience in APSU’s state-of-the-art computer labs, learn real college-level materials, and get a sneak peek at campus life. Designed for students in grades 3 through 12 as well as first-year college students, these Saturday class series are taught by APSU Computer Science & IT degree candidates using curriculum built by university professors. All classes are entry-level with no prior coding experience required!
Classes will take place on campus, in the Maynard Mathematics and Computer Science and CoSTEM Technology Buildings. Vaccines are recommended per CDC and TN Department of Health guidelines.

2026 Class Offerings
2026-09 September Class 1 - Code Your Own ROBLOX Games - For 3rd graders to 5th graders
Ages: Grades 3-5
Price: $69 (includes drinks)
Registration Deadline: August 31, 2026
Dates: 9/5, 9/12, 9/19 (Saturdays)
Times: 12:30 pm to 2:30 pm (2 hrs instead of 1.5 hrs)

2026-09 September Class 2 - Code Your Own ROBLOX Games - For 6th graders to 12th graders
Ages: Grades 6-12 and first-year college students
Price: $69 (includes drinks)
Registration Deadline: August 31, 2026
Dates: 9/5, 9/12, 9/19 (Saturdays)
Times: 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm (2 hrs instead of 1.5 hrs)
