APSU Summer Coding Camps

Have fun and learn a new skill this summer!
Get hands-on experience in APSU’s state-of-the-art computer labs, learn real college-level materials, and get a sneak peek at campus life—no need to bring a thing! Offering beginner-friendly, entry-level camps with no prior experience required, these four or five half-day sessions are open to rising 3rd through 12th graders as well as first-year college students. All camps are led by APSU Computer Science & IT degree candidates using curriculum created by university professors.
All camps take place on campus in the Maynard Mathematics and Computer Science Building and the CoSTEM Technology Building. Vaccines are recommended per CDC and TN Department of Health guidelines.

2027 Camp A - Code Your Own ROBLOX Games - For 3rd graders to 5th graders
Ages: Rising grades 3-5 students
Price: $159 (includes drinks, snacks, and a complimentary T-shirt)

2027 Camp I - Armageddon : VisionCraft - For 5th graders to 11th graders

Can your team survive the end of the world? In this collaborative scenario, students will work together to prepare for and endure an epic survival challenge. In addition to Minecraft gameplay, campers will engage in themed team-building activities that test their leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Alongside hands-on programming challenges, students will participate in collaborative activities that encourage creativity, problem-solving, and teamwork.
