A free peer support mental health app with 24/7 access to trained peers or a professional counselor.

Counseling Services
Austin Peay's Counseling Services offers a range of services and opportunities dedicated to caring for students’ emotional and mental health needs. In counseling, the student and a trained therapist work together to cope with specific issues and to improve overall wellbeing.
Students can call or visit Counseling Services to schedule an appointment. Crisis walk-ins are always welcome.

Boyd Health Services
As your on-campus resource for quality healthcare, Boyd Health Services provides support and services to help maintain wellness, leading to your academic success. All currently enrolled students and APSU employees can access our services.
Office Visit Fees: There is no charge to students for most office visits and any applicable charges are placed on the student’s account, so no funds are needed at the time of service.
Medication: Our in-house dispensary offers medications, supplies, and tests at minimal cost.

Care Coordinator
Provides comprehensive care and support to students facing various challenges, including mental health, physical health, personal crises and other barriers to academic success.
The Care Coordinator conducts initial assessments of students’ needs and provides personalized care plans and referrals to appropriate support services.

Community Care & Prevention Program Coordinator
Through one-on-one support, outreach events, and referrals to campus and community resources, the Coordinator works with students to provide support, coordinate prevention and wellness initiatives, respond to students in need, and connect them with resources that promote success and wellbeing.

University Recreation provides APSU and the surrounding community with opportunities to develop and enhance all aspects of wellness through quality recreational facilities, programs and services.

Food/Essentials
APSU Food Pantry
Supports APSU students through troubling times by helping fight hunger and providing hygiene items. The campus community supports and supplies the Food Pantry through donations and volunteerism. Students will need their Govs ID Card to receive food.
Students who find themselves in need can stop by once a week if needed.

Emergency Funding
APSU Emergency Fund
Students, faculty or staff who are facing unexpected financial hardship due to non-routine auto expenses, emergency off-campus housing expenses, utility bills, medical expenses, childcare expenses, disability expenses, and technology issues may apply for support through the Food Pantry.

Miller/SGA Emergency Loan Fund
Provides students access to emergency aid when needed. All students who desire and are granted permission for emergency loans are required to pay back the loan amount.
