Govs Wipeout 2026 — Official Rules

Govs Wipeout is a team-based obstacle competition taking place at Springtacular on April 11, 2026. Before you compete, make sure every member of your team has reviewed the rules below. All participants are expected to follow these guidelines — failure to do so may result in disqualification.

Team Requirements

Teams must have a minimum of 4 players and a maximum of 6 players.
All participants must be current APSU students.
Team names must be appropriate. Inappropriate names will not be permitted.

Registration & Waivers

Every team member must complete two steps before competing:

Register your team — Complete your team registration here.
Submit your liability waiver — participants without a completed waiver on file will not be allowed to compete. Complete your waiver here.

Check-In & Day-of Details

Check-in begins at 9:00 A.M. All teams must be checked in before the competition begins.
Each participant must present their APSU ID at check-in.
Teams must remain with their group and be ready when called to compete.
Only participants with wristbands will be allowed on the inflatables.

Competition Rules

Govs Wipeout features four inflatable obstacles: the Mega 3 Unit, Survivor, Wrecking Ball, and Rockwall Slide.

Participants must complete the obstacles in the order provided at the event.
Maximum participant limits on each inflatable must be followed at all times.
Follow all safety rules specific to each inflatable as directed by event staff.
All participants must follow instructions given by event staff. What event staff says, goes.

Conduct & Sportsmanship

Govs Wipeout is meant to be a fun, competitive, and safe experience for everyone. All participants are expected to:

Maintain good sportsmanship throughout the event.
Avoid pushing, shoving, roughhousing, or any unsafe behavior.
Respect fellow competitors, event staff, and spectators.

Failure to follow these expectations may result in disqualification.

Weather Policy

Rain or shine, the competition will go on. Govs Wipeout will proceed even in rainy conditions, so come prepared.
