Springtacular!
Springtacular is Austin Peay State University's annual spring celebration — a full day of competition, community, and campus pride. The Student Government Association is proud to partner with the Office of Student Life & Engagement to bring Springtacular 2026 to life, creating an experience that connects students, faculty, and the greater Clarksville community.
Springtacular will be held on April 11, 2026.
Govs Wipeout
This year, SGA is bringing the competition with Govs Wipeout — a team-based obstacle challenge inspired by the classic TV shows Wipeout and Survivor. Student teams will race and battle through inflatable obstacle courses, including the Mega 3 Unit, Survivor, Wrecking Ball, and Rockwall Slide, in a fast-paced, high-energy event that puts teamwork and campus spirit to the test.
Whether you're in it to win it or just there for the laughs, Govs Wipeout is a can't-miss experience.
How to Compete
All teams must consist of 4 to 6 current APSU students. To secure your spot, complete both steps before the event:

Register your team — Complete your team registration here.

Submit your liability waiver — every participant must have a completed waiver on file before competing. Complete your waiver here.
On the day of the event, check-in opens at 9:00 A.M. Bring your APSU ID — you won't be allowed to compete without it. Review the full Govs Wipeout Rules so your team knows what to expect before you arrive.
Springtacular Carnival
After the competition wraps up, the celebration continues with the Springtacular Carnival — open to the entire APSU campus and Clarksville community. Come out and enjoy:

No registration needed for the carnival — just show up and have fun.
