About the Canto image collection
Austin Peay State University provides the APSU community access to a rich collection of high-quality, brand-appropriate images that are suitable for print, web and video. The APSU Image Resource site features images of APSU faculty, staff, students, news, and events, in addition to APSU campuses and buildings. Many of the professional images contained within this collection may be downloaded at no charge for use on the web or in reports and presentations that foster the positive promotion of the University. All image use must be within the context of the original subject and purpose for the content. Gallery access is provided for official APSU use and should not be shared with another party.

Access images
Access to this gallery is open to the university community. This database is updated regularly, and now contains more than 55,000 images searchable by keyword.
Terms of use
All images - still image, film, video footage, audio product or visual representation whether provided electronically, digitally or by any other means including negatives and prints -- are the property of Austin Peay State University. No ownership or copyright in any manner shall pass to the user upon agreement to allow photo usage—images remain the property of Austin Peay State University.
Any reproduction of the image must be within the context of the original subject and purpose for the content. Users are reminded that the digitized items found on the APSU Image Resource are provided for the purposes of research, recruitment, promotion, advertising, exhibition, private study, general interest and reference only. For these purposes, the user may reproduce materials from the database without prior permission on the condition the user provide proper attribution of the source -- Austin Peay State University -- in all print or electronic publications.
Restrictions of use
The user is responsible for the use of the images. Images cannot be shared, distributed or posted online in downloadable format. Images should not be used in any way that can be considered illegal or defamatory. APSU images cannot be used to endorse a product or service other than recruitment for the University or connected to any content that would be considered unflattering or controversial to a reasonable person. Inappropriate or commercial use of database resources is a breach of this contract and may result in loss of access to those resources for all APSU Image Resource users and possible legal action taken against the breaching user.
Acceptance of terms
The terms of use constitute the entire agreement with Austin Peay State University in regard to the user's use of Services, and there are no oral representations, statements or agreements other than the terms provided for herein. The user assumes all responsibilities and liabilities, financial or otherwise, arising from or related to this application.
