Govs Essentials
Removing Barriers. Supporting Success.
The APSU Military and Veterans Affairs Division's Govs Essentials program is the central hub for academic resource support for military-affiliated students. What was previously offered through two separate initiatives — Texts for Vets and Tech for MAS — is now unified under one program, making it easier to find and access the support you need.
All resources are free and available to eligible military-affiliated students. Pickup and return take place in person at the Newton Family Resource Center on the Clarksville campus and at the AP Center at Fort Campbell.
Available Resources
Borrow textbooks at no cost for the semester. Military-affiliated students receive priority access during the first week of each term, with remaining inventory opening to all APSU students after the semester begins.
Borrow a TI-84 Plus calculator at no cost for the duration of your course. Available to military-affiliated students at both the Clarksville campus and the AP Center at Fort Campbell.
