Insurance

"No one should go without health care coverage, regardless of their age or current health condition. An accident, injury or illness can happen to anyone, including 'young invincible,' who are studying and working hard at colleges across the U.S."

Domestic Students

APSU strongly encourages each student to maintain health insurance coverage. Affordable plans are available for review and purchase through the Student Health Insurance Exchange website located at: www.ahix.com/#easy-enrollment

International Students

International students are strongly encouraged to provide proof of health insurance coverage before enrollment. Affordable plans are available for review and purchase through the International Student Insurance website. Once there, you can choose the type of insurance and coverage you are interested in. There are specific plans for students on J, F1, M1 visas and OPT students. There are also special insurance categories for Dental and Vision insurance, Dependent insurance and Major Medical insurance.

Insurance (Filing)

Boyd Health Services does not file insurance for the clinic visit including charges for medication, physical exams, supplies and labs. Therefore, if you have any charges from the clinic, they will be put onto your APSU account and you will be responsible for paying them on your own through OneStop or at the Cashiers' Window.
