Lance Sherley, DO
Dr. Sherley is our sponsoring physician. He is Board Certified in Family Practice. Dr.
Sherley attended the University of Memphis (undergraduate), University of North Texas
Science Center in Ft. Worth, TX (medical school) and did his residency in Dallas,
TX. He came to APSU in Fall of 2000. He is married and has three children.

Dan Miller, MD, FAAFP
Dr. Miller is Board Certified in Family Practice and is a fellow of the American Academy
of Family Physicians. Dr. Miller attended the Uniformed Services University of Health
Sciences and the F. Edward Herbert School of Medicine. He did his residency at Dewitt
Army Community Hospital. Dr. Miller's interests include reading, biking, running and
stained glass.

Jill de Graauw, APRN, FNP-BC
Jill is the Assistant Director of Health Services and a Family Nurse Practitioner.
She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Austin Peay and her Masters
of Science in Nursing degree from Vanderbilt University. She has been at Austin Peay
since 2003 and the Assistant Director since 2017. She has a passion for working with
young adults and watching them grow and prosper throughout their college careers.
Her clinical interests include minor procedures and mental health issues. Jill is
married and a mother of two children, one of which just graduated from APSU with her
Bachelor of Science degree. She enjoys camping, wildlife watching and is very active
with her church.

Rhonda Lafferty, FNP-C
Rhonda received her Associate of Nursing degree from Excelsior College and her Masters
of Science in Nursing from Frontier Nursing University. Clinical interests include
health promotion and illness prevention. She is a Clarksville native and is married
with 3 children. Rhonda enjoys boating, sports, and spending quality time with family
and friends.

LaMora Garcia, FNP-C
LaMora received her Associate Degree of Nursing through Hopkinsville Community College.
She received her Bachelor's of Nursing at Murray State University and her Masters
Degree through Austin Peay State University. LaMora is married with three children.
She enjoys eating, traveling to eat (LOL), reading, doing crossword puzzles, and watching
football.

Donna Lucas, Administrative Assistant
Donna started at APSU as a student in 1996. She became our Technical Clerk in Fall
of 2000 and our Administrative Assistant in Spring of 2022. She is originally from
Trinidad, West Indies. She obtained her degree in Health Care Management in the Spring
of 2002. She has two children.

Kale Turner, CMA
Kale started as Health Services's Medical Office Assistant in August 2022 and transitioned
to CMA in January 2023. She has been a CMA for 16 years. She has three daughters and
they are originally from Ireland. She loves to workout and tries to stay healthy.
She is also an avid animal lover.

Kim Outland, CMA
Kim earned her Associates degree in Medical Assisting from Miller-Motte College. She
is married with three children. She enjoys gardening, boating and spending time with
family and friends.

Kyle Neal, PharmD
Kyle started his undergraduate work at APSU in 2005 and after completing a Doctorate
of Pharmacy degree at Belmont University College of Pharmacy in 2018 he is a licensed
pharmacist. He has over 16 years of pharmacy experience and has been the Pharmacy
Manager at Centerstone Pharmacy in Clarksville for over 4 years. He also runs the
pharmacy in the Ard building at Boyd Health Services. His favorite part of the profession
is being able to interact with patients on a first name basis. He is married to his
wife Rachel of over 8 years and enjoys free time with family and friends as often
as possible. He enjoys sports of all kinds and weekend trips away from home relaxing.

Shelana Martin, M.S., Health & Wellness Promotion Coordinator
Shelana holds a Master of Science degree in Curriculum and Instruction and a Bachelor
of Science degree in Learning Educational Studies from the University of Illinois
Urbana-Champaign. She has experience in community-based research and presenting at
conferences on topics related to student success and wellness. She has worked in research
and youth programs, with a focus on creating spaces where people feel seen, supported
and empowered. Shelana is passionate about helping students build confidence, develop
their identities, and find equitable opportunities to grow and thrive.
