COVID-19 Testing

COVID-19 testing is conducted at the rear of the Ard building. There are two parking spots designated as reserved for testing. If you are driving, you will pull into one of these parking spots, park, and a staff member from the lab will come out to your car and obtain the sample(s) for the test. If you are walking, you will walk to one of the parking spots and a staff member from the lab will come out and obtain the sample(s) for the test. It will take about 15 minutes to get the results of the rapid test. If you have a negative rapid test result, an additional test (PCR) will be performed to verify those negative rapid test results. If the rapid test is positive, no additional testing is necessary. The testing staff will let you know how and when you will receive the PCR test results. APSU Students, Staff and Faculty, along with members of their household, who are currently experiencing COVID-19 related symptoms are eligible for testing. The Covid-19 rapid antigen test is $10 and the PCR test is free. No appointment is needed. Testing hours at the back of the ARD are Monday - Friday 7:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon.
