The Govs ID Card is your official APSU identification and your key to campus life! It gives you access to your residence hall, the library, athletic events, campus printing, dining, and more—all from your smartphone.
Getting your Govs ID Card
New Students and Transfers

After you have confirmed your acceptance to Austin Peay State University, you are eligible for a Govs ID card.

Upon acceptance, the registrar will assign you an APSU Identification Number (A#). A Govs ID card cannot be issued without an A#. You can find your A#in your OneStop account.

Bring one (1) of the following to the Govs ID Card Office (Morgan University Center, Room 207):

A state issued driver's license or ID

Passport

U.S. Permanent Resident Card

U.S. Military ID

U.S. Department of State ID Card

U.S. Territory ID Card

Submit your photo through the Govs ID Card eAccounts portal. Review the photo submission guidelines before uploading.
Current Students
Students currently enrolled can receive a Govs ID Card in-person by visiting the Govs ID card office Monday-Friday, from 8:00am - 4:30pm, in room 207 of the Morgan University Center.

Initial card: free

Replacing a non-functioning card: free (must turn in old card)

Replacing a lost, stolen, or damaged card: $20 (charged to your student account the next business day)
Card Benefits
Students will be able to access the Felix G. Woodward Library and check out books, publications, DVDs, laptops, and other materials using their Govs ID card.
Students living on campus will be able to access their apartments, residence halls, and laundry facilities using their Govs ID card.
Use your Govs ID Card at campus dining locations to access your meal plan.
Add optional funds to your Govs Bucks account for use at dining facilities, vending machines, the Austin Peay Bookstore, and Pharos printing stations.
Enrolled students receive $30 in Print Credit each semester (Fall, Spring, and Summer) for use at Pharos print release stations in the Woodward Library. Print Credit balances reset each semester, unused funds do not carry over. See Terms & Conditions for details.

Managing Your Account
Use the your Govs ID Card eAccounts login to add funds, check balances, and review transactions through your web browser or the Transact eAccounts mobile app. For full mobile app functionality, you must first log into the web portal to establish your saved payment methods.
