Ryan Horton

Ryan Horton grew up in Clarksville and received his Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing and Master of Science in Management from Austin Peay in 2016 and 2018 respectively. He began his career with Austin Peay in 2020 and has worked as an academic advisor and admissions counselor, as well as teaching freshman seminar classes. He is extremely excited to help CoAL students discover and pursue their passions! In his free time, he enjoys cooking, traveling and spending time outdoors.

George Watt

George Watt has joined the student success as an advisor since November 2020. He works with students in the College of Behavior Science. He has been advising students since 2006 and has been in education since 2004. He has been an instructor as well has worked in the financial industry, retail and a non-profit museum. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Management at Davenport University in Michigan. He also earned his Master of Art in Organizational Management at the University of Phoenix and his Master of Military History at Norwich University.

Sabrina Marsh |
Before joining University Student Success, Sabrina held multiple roles across campus over the years, including; Student Learning Assistant, Tutor, Graduate Teaching Assistant, and Visiting Assistant Professor. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Health Administration in 2019 and a Master of Science in Public Health Education in 2021-- both from APSU. She has worked at University Student Success since 2023. Earlier on, she was an Academic Advisor for the College of STEM for Allied Health Science majors. Since 2025, she has worked on the CoBHS team as a Student Success Coordinator for Nursing Canidates. As a first generation college student, Sabrina is passionate about guiding students towards successful and fulfilling lives enriched by higher education.

Anthea Saez |
Anthea C. Saez joined the CoSTEM Student Success team as an academic advisor in September 2022. Previously worked in the natural dyeing/textile industry as an agricultural research associate within the R&D department in Springfield TN. Before moving to Clarksville, Anthea worked as a high school science teacher at Harmony Science Academy in El Paso, Tx, as a success coach and adjunct professor for biology at Central Carolina Community College in NC. Anthea's graduate studies included research experience within large animal food safety (microbiology), agricultural education and curriculum development, and research project management experience, including international research in Costa Rica and Honduras within an animal science food safety and food security setting.

Jesse Day

With more than 13 years of experience in higher education, Jesse Day has been working with students to be successful. Jesse relocated to Clarksville in August 2022 to serve as the Co-STEM Advisor at APSU and is now the Student Success Coordinator for the department. He previously served as the lead STEM Advisor at Lorain County Community College in Lorain, OH. Jesse also served as a Student Success Coach before becoming an Advisor. Jesse earned his Bachelor's Degree from the University of Kentucky, and a Master's Degree from Austin Peay State University. Jesse is passionate about providing students with genuine and quality advising to prepare them for their future. When he is not advising students, Jesse can be found on the football field or basketball court as a High School Official.

Greg Jeffers

Greg has been serving students in Higher Education since 2010, and came to Austin Peay as an academic advisor for General/University Studies in 2023 before joining the Student Success team in 2025. He advises students in University College and College of Education. He has resided in the Clarksville area with his family since 2010, and in his free time enjoys pickleball, woodworking projects, family travels, diamond painting artwork, and reading. During the warmer spring and summer months, he will most often be found re-living his youth playing baseball in an adult wood-bat league in Nashville.
