Charde' Hudspeth
|
Charde' Hudspeth joined the Austin Peay community in 2021, joining the Student Success Team in 2024. Before Student Success, she was an Academic Advisor in the Department of Athletics, providing academic support to the football and spirit team student-athletes. Prior to Austin Peay, Charde' was an Academic Advisor and Student Services Coordinator for the Department of Athletics at Murray State University. She is also an adjunct instructor for UNIV 1000, APSU 3010, and COMM 2045. Charde' enjoys helping her students achieve their goals as they navigate through their college journey.
George Watt

George Watt has joined the student success as an advisor since November 2020. He works with students in the College of Behavior Science. He has been advising students since 2006 and has been in education since 2004. He has been an instructor as well has worked in the financial industry, retail and a non-profit museum. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Management at Davenport University in Michigan. He also earned his Master of Art in Organizational Management at the University of Phoenix and his Master of Military History at Norwich University.
Maria Harris

Maria serves as an Academic Advisor for Student Success. Before joining the APSU team, she worked for 8 years as a Project Manager at the University of Kentucky. Maria has been a support to young adults and families for her entire professional career and is excited to bring her passions here to Austin Peay State University. Maria received her Bachelor of Arts from Kentucky State University in 2008, she then continued her education earning a Master of Arts in Education Leadership from Argosy University in 2011.
Dallas Inabinett |
Dallas Inabinett serves as an Academic Advisor in Student Success. Dallas earned a B.A in History with a focus on The United States and Latin America from Troy University in Alabama. While attending Troy, he served as one of the first Peer Academic Advisors. His experience in Peer Advising led him to pursue his love for supporting students, navigating them through the highs and lows of college, and being a partner in achieving their academic goals. Dallas shares, "I changed my major eight times in undergrad. I know firsthand how confusing, exciting, and nerve wracking it is trying to figure it all out. I found solace and support in our advising office, so I am excited to pay it forward and help others who may be feeling that way. If you feel overwhelmed or dissatisfied with your major, take a step back, breathe, and return to the drawing board." In his free time Dallas enjoys reading and writing. He is excited to call Clarksville and Austin Peay home, and looks forward to connecting with you!
Allison Rodriguez |
Allison Rodriguez was born and raised in Reno, Nevada. The military brought her and her husband to Tennessee. Allison is bilingual in English and Spanish. She joined Student Success in 2022 as an Administrative Assistant and became an Academic Advisor in 2023. Allison is passionate about helping people and she looks forward to serving the students and community here at APSU.
Aaliyah Cumberbatch

Aaliyah Cumberbatch began serving as a coach in the Summer of 2024 after graduating from APSU in May of 2024, with a Bachelor’s in Professional Communication and a minor in Journalism. During her time as an undergrad, she cultivated her love for travel and broadcast journalism by participating in volunteer trips abroad and working with APSU-TV News as an anchor. She hopes to forge true connections with students and learn their stories; in the hopes of making their college experience valuable.
Jontae Rice

Jontae Rice began serving as a Student Success Coach in the Fall of 2023, but has worked in the Housing department years prior. Jontae graduated from Austin Peay in August 2022 with a Bachelor's in Communications and a minor in History. He is excited to help assist students through the obstacles that may come throughout their college careers.
