Dates and Deadlines

March 15, 2013 - Verification Notifications

Notifications for students selected for verification will be sent to your AP Email. For detailed information go to www.apsu.edu/financialaid/verification

April 1, 2013Summer Application available online

April 5, 2013 - 2013-2014 Award Offers

Financial aid award information will be sent your AP email address. Award information will not be sent by regular mail. Award information will also be available on AP One-Stop.

Students planning to use loans should begin accepting and applying as soon as the award notification is received

June 3, 2013 - Priority Date to Receive Verification and Other Required Documents

You will be notified if you are selected for the verification process. You may check the status of your verification and/or required documents on AP One-Stop. Your financial aid award and disbursement cannot be completed without the receipt and processing of any requested documents.

June 3, 2013 - Priority Date to Apply for Loans

Last day to apply for PLUS, Alternative, Stafford, and Grad PLUS loan(s) in order for funds to be applied by the fall bill date.

July 2013 - Fee Payment

Preregistered students may pay fees in the Business Office, Browning BLDG from 8:00-4:30 pm Monday - Friday, by mail, or may be paid online via AP Self Service. Self Service accepts payment in full or students may sign up for the installment plan. All students must confirm their classes. Even those students with zero or credit balances must confirm their classes The most up-to-date fee & fee payment information is available at www.apsu.edu/bursar

Student Direct Loan Changes and Information

Enrollment 

Undergraduate students enrolling at the Main or Fort Campbell campus must be enrolled in at least 6 credit hours to be eligible for student loans. Graduate students must enroll in at least 3 graduate level hours for summer and at least 4 graduate level hours for all other semesters.

New Federal Loan Disbursement Policy

General Financial Aid Changes and Information

Graduate and Professional Students are No Longer Eligible to Receive Subsidized Loans

  • Effective for loans made for payment periods that begin on or after July 1, 2012, graduate and professional students are no longer eligible to receive subsidized loans.
  • However, if you are a graduate or professional student, you may still qualify for up to $20,500 in unsubsidized loans each year.

Financial Aid Awards 

Effective Fall 2011, there will not be any distinction between main campus and the Fort Campbell campus for financial aid awards.  All terms will be included in either Fall, Spring, or Summer.  An example is if you attend the Fort Campbell campus Fall I, Fall II, and or Fall main campus, any of these terms, or combination of these terms, will be considered Fall Term, this will also apply to Spring and Summer terms.  If you have questions, contact our office at 931.221.7907 or Email: Office of Student Financial Aid and Veterans Affairs
