VA Work Study
The VA Work Study program allows eligible students to work part-time in VA-related activities while attending school. Students are paid at least the federal or state minimum wage — whichever is higher — for hours worked. The program is available during regular academic terms, with possible extensions for summer and winter terms.
Students may work up to 25 hours per week while enrolled.
Eligibility Requirements
To participate in the VA Work Study program, you must:

Receive VA education benefits under Title 38 or Title 10

Be enrolled and certified to the VA at a rate of pursuit of three-quarter time or more for the terms you are working

Maintain a cumulative GPA of 2.75 or higher

Complete VA Form 22-8691 (Application for Work-Study Allowance)

Be selected by one of the approved VA work sites

Additional VA forms and documents may be required
