Are you a student who enjoys writing and wants a flexible on-campus job? The Writing Center accepts applications for both Writing Tutors and Front Desk Attendants. We welcome students from all majors and class years!

Requirements:

• Interest in writing

• Two supportive letters of recommendation from APSU faculty

• A strong writing sample

 Writing Center Hours:

• Monday–Thursday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

• Friday: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM

• Saturday–Sunday: 12:00 PM – 5:00 PM (eTutoring only)

• Student work hours are typically arranged based on individual schedules and Center needs.

Writing Tutors: Work one-on-one with students to collaborate on their writing process, answer questions, offer feedback, and help build confidence in a supportive environment.

Front Desk: Create a welcoming space by greeting students, managing appointments, answering phone calls, and assisting with social media and outreach efforts.
