Resources for Professors

We've compiled a list of resources for professors to use below. Most of them consist of videos of the typical workshops we ran prior to going completely online, including our Writing Center introductory visit and our formatting style workshops in MLA, APA, and Chicago.

We recommend adding the following statement to point your students towards using the Writing Center.

The Writing Center:

The Writing Center is located on the first floor of the Woodward Library and provides free one-on-one writing help for everything from generating ideas to polishing your final draft. You can make an in-person, online, or asynchronous appointment by visiting their website at apsu.edu/writingcenter. Make sure to ask your tutor to send your report form to your professor’s email address if you need proof of attendance.

If a tutor cannot make it to a class held on-ground or via Zoom, we have prepared a video that introduces the Writing Center to students.
