Winter Term Checklist - Current Students
Welcome to the Winter Term! Stay organized and on task in the term by using the Winter Term Checklist. The checklist provides the steps you need to complete to begin the term successfully.
We encourage you to meet with your advisor to discuss Winter Term course options. Advisors will ensure you have the classes you need for your program and to also be successful in the term. Instructions on how to locate your advisor is found on the Office of the Registrar's website under "How do I find out who my Academic Advisor is?"
Winter Term courses will be available in the Schedule of Classes when the spring schedule opens for viewing. Visit the Registrar’s website for information on how to register for your classes in the AP OneStop system.
Review the Registrar’s website for online registration instructions.
Pay for your classes before the deadline. In some cases, a fee deferment may be available. Visit the Fee Deferment and General Information website for more information.
Remember to confirm your enrollment when the confirmation period opens.
Courses that are not confirmed before the drop date will be removed from your schedule. Instructions on how to confirm your classes are available on the Student Account Services website.
Since Winter Term is only four weeks in length, it is essential to purchase your course materials before the first day of classes. Course materials can be ordered at the Ann Ross Bookstore. Visit the Ann Ross Bookstore website for more information.
If you have questions about course requirements, we suggest that you email the instructor of record in the AP OneStop system.
To help you transition successfully to online learning, Distance Education offers an Introduction to Online Courses website. The introduction provides information, resources, and tips that will help you acclimate to learning online at the Peay.

Class starts on the first day of classes.
We suggest that you log into D2L and read the syllabus, announcements, and any email communication from the instructor on the first day of classes. We also recommend that you log into D2L daily to review announcements and check email for class updates.
