Student Research and Innovation Week

April 18 - 22, 2022

Calling all Undergraduate and Graduate student researchers, innovators, and scholars from any college. We need you! We invite you to present your work at our Research and Innovation Week in the Honors Commons on April 18 – 22. 
 Here are the details:
  • Awards, prizes, and food.
  • T-Shirts (limited supply)
  • Speakers and information.
  • We will pay for your poster! Contact us at osri@apsu.edu
  • If you already have a poster made, then you can use the one you have.
  • Enter your poster. We will help you with the details.
To enter simply email us at osri@apsu.edu with your name, college, project title, and tell us if you need a poster made or if you want to enter your existing poster. We will find a place for everyone!

Posters at the Capitol (Submission window is now closed)The Tennessee STEM Education Center is organizing “Tennessee Posters at the Capitol 2022” to be held Tuesday, February 16, 2022 at the Cordell Hull Building, 425 5th Avenue North, Nashville, TN. The competition is open to undergraduate researchers in the STEM fields.

3 Minute Video Competition Submission Window Open
The Office of Student Research and Innovation is supporting a new competition for APSU: the three-minute research and scholarly activity video presentation (3MRSA). Students are encouraged to work with a faculty sponsor to submit their videos following the below criteria. A group of faculty and staff will evaluate the videos using a rubric to determine the winners who will receive a monetary prize for their video ranging between $100 to $500 depending on the number of submissions.

Interested in getting your work out there? Want to know what other students/professionals in your field are doing? Become part of the discussion by submitting your research/creative work to a peer-reviewed journal.  All journals on this list accept undergraduate submissions. Some even offer awards for top contributors. You’ll receive a huge resume boost (not to mention bragging rights) by getting published before you’ve even graduated!
