Govs Week of Service: June 15–18
Volunteer, learn, and support local nonprofits—on and off campus. Join us for four days of hands-on service with Clarksville-area organizations. Sign up to give back, discover local nonprofits, and serve alongside fellow Govs. Limited spots each day.

Schedule
Monday, June 15 — Loaves & Fishes

Location: 825 Crossland Ave, Clarksville, TN

Capacity: 15 volunteer spots

What they do: Feed the hungry six days a week and distribute food to area agencies, serving approximately 45,000–50,000 meals on-site each year.

Volunteer activities:
-
Arrive by 8:00 AM to help prepare a meal served between 10:30 AM–12:30 PM.

Assist with kitchen and dining area clean-up.

Tuesday, June 16 — Habitat for Humanity of Montgomery County, TN

Location: 404 Madison St., Clarksville, TN

Capacity: 12 volunteer spots

What they do: Work to eliminate poverty housing and expand access to decent, affordable homes in healthy, safe neighborhoods.

Volunteer activities:

Support homebuilding or community projects; specific tasks will be assigned on site.

Wednesday, June 17 — Manna Café Ministries

Capacity: 10 volunteer spots

What they do: Provide meals, groceries, and essential resources to individuals and families experiencing food insecurity.

Volunteer activities:

Assist with meal prep and food distribution.

Pack grocery boxes and organize donations.

Help maintain a welcoming environment.

Thursday, June 18 — Teachers Warehouse

Location: 1312 State Highway 48, Clarksville, TN

Capacity: 10 volunteer spots

What they do: Support local educators by providing free school supplies and classroom resources.

Volunteer activities:

Sort, organize, and stock donated materials.

Prepare supply orders for teachers.

Help keep the space efficient and inviting.
