Service Recognition

water color dots

We love it when our students volunteer - and we want to know about all the good that you do! We have several ways that we recognize student volunteerism:

The Vice President's Service Honor Roll recognizes students who log their service/ volunteer hours over the course of an academic year with at least 75 volunteer hours. Beginning in June, the summer months before fall semester, students can begin logging their hours for the upcoming semester. The deadline for logged hours is April 1, 2018. The hours counted toward this honor roll are based on a higher level of involvement for service. We do not count service hours from philanthropic events, service to student organizations, donations, event planning or service - learning courses. All hours must be logged through the volunteer logger.

The Civic Engagement Award is presented at the Student Organization and Leader Awards in April and recognizes the student (s) who have dedicated a large amount of their time to volunteering with one non profit/ not for profit organization. We are looking to celebrate students who focused in on helping one agency and became an integral part of their organization. All hours must be logged through the volunteer logger.

The Volunteer of the Year Award is presented at the Student Organization and Leader Awards in April and recognizes two students who have logged the most hours volunteering in the community. All hours must be logged through the volunteer logger.
