Living Green is a environmentally conscious living community that brings together students with a shared interest in sustainability.
Living Green provides an opportunity for students to learn how to live a more environmentally friendly lifestyle while supporting their peers. This program is open to freshman and the housing is located in Terrace North residence hall. Students in this community participate in weekly conversations on environmental topics over family-style dinners, community building activities, and staff mentoring. Discussion topics include carbon footprints, recycling, water conservation, reducing waste, endangered species and more.
Living communities like Living Green create a cohort of students with common passions and interests. Living Green gives students the opportunity to share their experiences with each other.
Living Green Students will:
- Live on campus and maintain GPA above 2.0
- Be actively engaged in the spirit of living an eco conscious lifestyle and support their peers
- Commit to attending weekly educational dinners / field trips planned by APSU staff
