Technology Access Fee Allocation Committee
The Technology Access Fee Allocation Committee reviews the faculty, staff, and/or administrative proposals for funding by the Technology Access Fees (TAF) for all APSU campuses and recommends funding identified proposals to the Information Technology Advisory Committee as a whole for final approval.
Goals
The Technology Access Fee Allocation Committee's goals include:
- To annually review the status of support for faculty and student use of educational technology, which includes the use of computers, audio-visual media, the Internet, and telecommunications.
- To consider and plan long-range academic use of educational technology for teaching and learning.
- To receive recommendations or suggestions from the faculty or any school or department that may aid in the appropriate use of educational technology, promote efficient services, and encourage increased use of educational technology.
- To advise the Chief Information Officer on the allotment of funds for implementation of educational technology and on educational technology policies, projects, and planning.
