Tri-Alpha Honor Society
About Tri-Alpha
Alpha Alpha Alpha (Tri-Alpha) is a national honor society for first-generation college students who demonstrate academic excellence. At Austin Peay, Tri-Alpha recognizes the academic achievements of first-generation students while providing a supportive network of peers with shared experiences.
Eligibility Requirements

Undergraduate students: Must have completed at least 30 credit hours with a minimum 3.2 GPA
-
Graduate students: Must have completed at least 9 credit hours with a minimum 3.5 GPA in their program
-
Student's parents, step-parents, or legal guardians must not have completed a bachelor's degree
Membership Information

Inductees are celebrated each Spring

Eligible students are notified of their eligibility through their APSU email

The fee to join Tri-Alpha is $30
-
This covers your certificate, pin, national initiation fee, and local initiation fee
-
Enables the Beta Beta chapter at APSU to fund activities and initiatives on campus and within the community
