GPA Information

Your TELS GPA may be different from your APSU GPA. All credit hours attempted at all postsecondary institutions a student has attended after graduating from high school and their corresponding grades must be included in the calculation of the postsecondary cumulative grade point average. Some of these course grades may not be calculated into your APSU GPA. If you took college level courses while still in high school, these grades are counted in your APSU GPA but will not be computed into your TELS GPA or attempted credit hours.

You may review your TELS GPA on AP OneStop by going to Student --> Student Records --> View Lottery Eligibility.

Any course you enroll in and drop after the 14th day of a semester (or comparable dates for Fort Campbell terms and summer sessions) will result in a grade of either “W” or “F”. These hours count towards your TELS attempted hours. You may have a one-time option to request an exclusion for a course you have repeated. Please review the course repeat/exclusion section for more information.

Incompletes

While receiving the Lottery scholarship any “Incomplete” courses are included in the calculation of attempted hours. As grades for incomplete courses are posted, the Office of Student Financial Aid must recalculate a student’s cumulative TELS GPA. If the recalculated cumulative GPA falls below the minimum eligibility criteria at the attempted credit hours benchmark, the student’s award will be canceled. This would result in repayment of Lottery funds received.
