Junior Govs Camps

Foy Fitness and Recreation Center offers three summer camps for children ages 5-15.  Our Little Peayple Camp, provides 6 weeks filled with sports, games, off campus field trips, aquatic activities, indoor rock climbing, and arts and crafts for children 5-8.  Our AP Adventurers, provide 6 weeks filled with sports, aquatic activities, robotics, outdoor adventures, rock climbing, and local field trips for ages 9-12. Our Govs Outdoors (GO) Teen Camp, for ages 12-15, provides 2 weeks filled with outdoor adventure around the Clarksville area.  Each recreation based summer camp provides programming to promote healthy lifestyles among children.

Registration Information

Registration and payment can be completed at the Foy Center service desk or online. Accepted payment methods include cash, check, and credit/debit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express). Full payment is required at the time of registration.

Spots are available on a first-come, first-served basis. A waitlist is offered, but does not guarantee placement.

In the event that you need to cancel for any week(s) that you have registered for please contact Jasin Wills at willse@apsu.edu by 5:00pm on the Wednesday prior to the registered week(s) to receive a refund. 

Registration for all camp weeks will open in April 2026 (exact date to be determined) and will remain open until the Thursday before each camp week begins.

Little Peayple Summer Camp

This recreational day camp promotes healthy lifestyles for children ages 5 to 8. Over six action-packed weeks, campers will enjoy sports activities, games, arts and crafts, local field trips, and swimming.

Hosted at the Foy Fitness and Recreation Center at the corner of Marion and Drane Streets, the camp runs from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., with early drop-off from 8:00 to 8:30 a.m. and late pick-up available until 4:30 p.m.

Pricing is set per child, per week, and includes all materials, field trips, and an afternoon snack Monday through Friday. Camp capacity is limited to 32 campers per week.

July 13th - 17th

 Govs Outdoors Teen Camp

Looking for an unforgettable summer experience? We are looking to bring back our Govs Outdoors (GO) Teen Camp is all about adventure, exploration, and fun in the great outdoors! Designed for teens ages 13 to 17, this week-long day camp includes canoeing, kayaking, climbing, swimming, and hiking around the Clarksville area—offering a little of everything while helping teens build confidence and friendships.

Limited to 8 campers per week

What to Bring:
Campers should wear active-wear and closed-toe shoes, and bring a lunch, water bottle, towel, and a change of clothes for water activities.
