Austin Peay's Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) Program helps open the door to the professional and graduate worlds.

Whether you plan to seek employment post-graduation or head to graduate school, our doctoral-educated faculty in the School of Nursing will prepare you to be a leader in the healthcare industry. The baccalaureate program offers two options, the BSN Nursing Major (Pre-Licensure concentration) and the RN to BSN concentration. The baccalaureate (BSN) program is guided by the following professional nursing standards and guidelines:

The BSN Nursing Major (Pre-Licensure) and RN to BSN concentration also operate under the laws, rules, and regulations of the Tennessee Board of Nursing.

Public Notice of Upcoming Accreditation Review Visit by The Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE)


Austin Peay State University School of Nursing BSN Program is seeking comments from the Community of Interest (COI) in preparation for the upcoming accreditation site visit. In accordance with CCNE's procedures, the Commission provides the opportunity for program constituents to submit, in writing, third-party comments directly to CCNE.

Third-party comments are accepted by CCNE up to 21 days prior (February 8, 2023) to the start of the on-site evaluation. All third-party comments received by CCNE are considered confidential and are only shared with the evaluation team.
