Safety
APSU has consistently been rated as one of the most secure campuses in Tennessee. The University's compassionate student community, utilization of technology, and well-trained police officers work together to establish a secure atmosphere that enables students to concentrate on their education.
The University police officers have received the same level of training and authority as their counterparts in the city police department. They are present on the campus 24/7 and even provide accompaniment to students who feel uncomfortable walking alone during the evening hours.
