What You’ll Experience

Students will spend the week inside APSU’s School of Nursing, learning directly from faculty and working in real simulation labs.

  • Practice core nursing skills in a clinical simulation environment

  • Explore patient care, assessment and communication techniques

  • Learn about different nursing specialties and career paths

  • Get a feel for the pace and expectations of nursing school

  • Connect with current nursing students and faculty

Why It Matters

Nursing isn’t something you fully understand from the outside. This experience gives students a realistic, hands-on look at the profession before they commit to a major or career path.

You’ll leave with:

  • A clearer understanding of the nursing field

  • Greater confidence in your career decision

  • Early exposure to college-level expectations
