The goal of the EOC is to provide information and assist persons who wish to become enrolled in college/training programs. Members of the EOC staff work in cooperation with a variety of public and private organizations (human service agencies, schools, churches, and industries, civic groups) to identify and serve eligible persons who are interested in pursuing education or training programs beyond the high school level.
The Educational Opportunity Center main office is located in the Ellington Building on Drane Street on the Austin Peay State University campus. In order to better serve the Clarksville/Fort Campbell, Hopkinsville and Dover communities, we also maintain Outreach Centers within our target areas.
The Clarksville/Ft. Campbell Educational Opportunity Center is funded by the U.S. Department of Education in the amount of $373,614 for FY 2015-2016 and sponsored as a free community service by Austin Peay State University. It is a division of the Office of Research and Sponsored Programs.
