Undergraduate Programs for Licensure and Master of Arts in Teaching
Programs for Licensure are approved by the Tennessee Department of Education. Austin Peay State University have been approved to offer 25 initial teaching endorsements. The programs offered are subject to change based on revision of standards by the Eriksson College of Education or the Tennessee Department of Education. If a licensure area does not appear below, it is not an approved program offered at APSU.
You can earn licensure to teach Pre-K through Grade 3 by following:

To become licensed to teach high school, you will major in the subject are in which you want to teach, and you will minor in Professional Education. We offer licensure programs in the following content areas:
