The Online Process

APSU is always seeking new ways to become greener in order to provide a sustainable future. Academic Affairs has implemented a completely online process for course evaluations! So all courses, whether delivered online or on campus, will utilize a web-based format for the administration of the course evaluations. Just as you have done in the past, we encourage you to set aside time for your students to complete the course evaluation in class.

Austin Peay State University (APSU) will conduct its giveaway(s) substantially as described in these general rules, and by participating, each participant agrees as follows: Participant must be a currently registered student of APSU. In order to be eligible for the giveaway the participant must have completed a course evaluation located in the student’s Web Self Service account. Completion of the course evaluation is open to each currently registered student and is voluntary. Note that the course terms will reflect when the course evaluations will be available to the currently registered student. Course evaluations will be available to the currently registered student 14 days prior to the last day of class, are anonymous and answers cannot be tracked. Faculty will gain access to the results of the course evaluation(s) after all grades have been submitted. The recipient will be selected randomly. All giveaway(s) must be redeemed from the University within thirty (30) days of the giveaway. If the recipient cannot be contacted or is disqualified for any reason, the University reserves the right to determine an alternate recipient or not to award that giveaway, in its sole discretion. The University reserves the right to discontinue the giveaway at any time. Any valuation of the giveaway(s) stated above is based on the available information provided to the University, and the value of any giveaway awarded to a recipient may be reported for tax purposes as required by law. Each recipient is solely responsible of reporting  and paying any and all applicable taxes related to the giveaway(s) and paying any expenses associated with any giveaway which are not specifically provided  for in the official rules. Each recipient must provide the University with a completed Gift, Prize or Award Form before any giveaway will be awarded. Any person receiving over $600 USD in giveaways from the University will receive an IRS form 1099 at the end of the calendar year and a copy of such form will be filed with the IRS.
