When not working directly with The New Gallery on exhibition installation, the gallery
assistants work primarily with the University Art Collection This work includes the cataloging, photographing, handling, restoring, researching,
exhibiting and care of the 3500+ piece art collection of Austin Peay State University.
The online database was created and implimented by Sara Roach '24.
Gallery Assistants are scholarship recipients that are interested in applying their work hours to learn valuable museum-management
skills in an active, hands-on environment. If you are interested in becoming a gallery
