Faculty Triennial: Spark

The New Gallery, with support from the Center of Excellence for the Creative Arts and the Department of Art + Design, presented Faculty Triennial: Spark to open the 2026–27 exhibition season.
The faculty exhibition showcased the work of full-time and part-time faculty, as well as staff who taught and worked within the Department of Art + Design. It offered the campus community and visitors an opportunity to engage with ideas across a diverse range of disciplines:

Members of the Department of Art + Design are professional artists and academics who share their work and expertise nationally and internationally in institutions across the globe. The New Gallery hosts this exhibition every three years, offering students and the broader community an opportunity to experience the department's collective creative practice in one space.
This exhibition reflects the talent, craftsmanship, and intellectual dialogue that we hope to inspire in our students. It represents the academic excellence, creativity, curiosity, and commitment to artistic practice that define our APSU community.
